Desired Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP license in good standing (required)
- Experience providing speech services in a school setting (elementary preferred)
- Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and maintain thorough progress documentation
- Adaptability to new school environments and schedules
Role At a Glance:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in PreK–5th grade
- Serve one school per assignment during the specified maternity leave period
- Collaborate with educators and special services staff to support IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain compliance
- Consult with families on student progress and recommended supports
- School hours align with each site’s schedule, each totaling 35 hours per week
