Seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist to make an impact in a supportive school environment for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant educational setting with a diverse K-12 caseload, focusing solely on providing services, as evaluations are handled by another SLP. With a manageable caseload of 85-90 students and no evaluation responsibilities, you’ll be able to concentrate on therapeutic interventions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana SLP License required
- Experience in a school setting preferred, particularly with K-12 populations
- Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative work with educators and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic workload and adjust to changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in K-12
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining clear and up-to-date records
- Consult with teaching staff and families regarding student progress and strategies
- Attend meetings as needed to support the IEP process
Compensation for this role is competitive, with the opportunity to earn between $45 and $55 per hour based on experience and qualifications, reflecting the value placed on your specialized skills.
