You’ll have ownership of your caseload, provide direct therapeutic interventions, collaborate with other educational professionals, and mentor a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support student success. This role is designed for someone passionate about early intervention and skilled in both hands-on therapy and professional supervision.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Indiana SLP license
- Department of Education Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience supervising an SLPA or strong supervisory abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in Early Childhood/PreK students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise and guide the SLPA in daily activities and caseload management
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
