This in-person contract position is designed for an SLP with CCC credentials to work throughout the full 2026-2027 school year at a single elementary site serving Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. The schedule is a consistent 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday, totaling 35 hours each week—a structure that offers work/life balance and the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure with CCC required
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings
- Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and support staff
- Expertise developing and implementing IEPs and progress monitoring
- Committed to fostering communication growth in diverse learners
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy to elementary students in TK-5th grades
- Develop, review, and manage IEPs in alignment with school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and families to adapt strategies that support student communication needs
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in eligibility and team meetings
- Engage in school events and activities as an integral part of the educational community
- Promote positive, inclusive interactions that encourage student academic and social success
