Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Vacaville, California

This full-time contract position offers the chance to work with students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade, making a direct impact on their communication skills and overall educational success.
In this role, you'll serve multiple sites with a manageable caseload of 24-28 students, giving you ample opportunity for individualized attention and meaningful intervention. Beyond delivering speech-language therapy, you'll also take on case management responsibilities, collaborating closely with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Knowledge and experience in pediatric settings and/or school-based therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within Sonoma and Marin counties
- Proficient with evaluation, documentation, and report-writing tailored to the school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention for students TK-12 identified with speech/language needs
- Manage a diverse caseload while meeting compliance and service delivery standards
- Oversee all case management duties, including assessment, documentation, and meeting participation
- Collaborate with IEP teams, classroom teachers, and families to maximize student growth
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports student learning and confidence
