Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Simi Valley, California

Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid CA SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPA license/certification
- Experience supporting pediatric populations, specifically within K-8th grade settings
- School-based or healthcare speech-language experience preferred
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms (helpful but not required)
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and related service teams
- Ability to support IEP goals, conduct assessments, and provide direct speech/language therapy
- Open to both Clinical Fellow (CFY) and experienced candidates
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services tailored to K-8 students
- Conduct assessments, contribute to IEP meetings, and develop measurable speech goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize positive outcomes
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all guidelines
- Utilize a variety of therapy techniques, incorporating technology and creative resources
- Serve as a resource to the school community regarding speech and language development
