Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow - Newark, New York

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active NY licensure as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) or SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant)
- Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) clinicians
- Previous experience in school or healthcare-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and working on interdisciplinary teams
- Comfortable with in-person service delivery; teletherapy experience valued but not required for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, intervention, and therapy to middle and high school students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to create well-rounded support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to suit individual student needs within the school environment
