Speech Pathology - Wasco, CA
Step into a rewarding contract role as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist, making an impact from now through the end of the school year. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experienced in working with school-aged children, ideally in an educational environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students based on IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate progress records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student success
- Offer guidance to parents and caregivers to reinforce interventions at home
