Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting, preferably with middle and high school students
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for a diverse student population
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Professional, responsible, and adaptable mindset with a passion for helping students succeed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades 6–12
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and evidence-based therapy interventions
- Work closely with teachers and school staff on integrating communication strategies into the classroom
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences, both in-person and remotely as needed
- Provide consultation and resources to families and educators to support student progress
