Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school setting, specifically with grades 4-6, preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based speech therapy practices
- Strong documentation and case management abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and write evaluation reports
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and intervention effectiveness
- Create engaging, age-appropriate therapy materials and activities
- Serve as a resource for school staff regarding language and communication disorders
