Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Prior experience working with adolescent populations, especially within middle and high school environments, is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and tailored therapy plans
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable engaging in both in-person sessions and occasional virtual meetings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades 6-12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy sessions and treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings—both on-site and remotely—to review goals and progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all reporting requirements
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families as needed
