Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting preferred
- Confident working with students in upper elementary grades (4-6)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for supporting student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) specific to each student
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and documentation as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student success planning
- Provide recommendations, strategies, and consultation for classroom-based interventions
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed on best practices
