Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of (or eligibility for) state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent experience working with school-aged children, preferably grades 4-6
- Solid understanding of IEP development, therapy planning, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for building rapport with students, staff, and families
- Energetic, adaptable, and committed to fostering positive student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students at one centrally located site
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments to identify student needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and update IEP documentation based on student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure an integrated approach to student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight into speech and language strategies for the classroom
- Maintain timely and accurate progress notes, reports, and other required documentation
