Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Ubly, MI

In this role, you will work with a manageable caseload of 61 students, running special education Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensuring seamless coordination and compliance, including monthly Medicaid submissions. You’ll be a valued specialist, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to help students reach their speech and language goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC) is necessary
- Experience or genuine enthusiasm for working in an elementary school setting (K–6)
- Comfort with managing a caseload and running special education IEP meetings
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Diligence in timely, accurate Medicaid documentation
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP guidelines
- Collaborate with education teams, providing input that shapes supportive learning environments
- Oversee and lead IEP meetings, ensuring goal-focused planning
- Accurately complete and submit Medicaid billing documentation monthly
- Communicate proactively with families regarding student progress and needs
