- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse elementary student population
- Assist with caseload management, supporting district SLPs to ensure students’ needs are met efficiently
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and collaborative planning as needed
- Offer therapy sessions that address articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding student goals and achievements
