You’ll work with a manageable caseload, well below the state maximum of 60 students, allowing you to focus more deeply on high-quality interventions and personalized student care. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Michigan SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with varying communication needs
- Conduct assessments and interpret data to determine eligibility and develop intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring student goals are met and progress is monitored
- Maintain accurate and timely records as required by state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families for holistic support
