You’ll work closely with educators and other professionals to guide students’ communication growth from August 17, 2026, through June 23, 2027. Two openings are available; services may be provided onsite or virtually.
Qualifications:
- Current Michigan licensure as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language services
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations and develop/implement IEPs
- Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, families, and support staff
- Comfortable adapting to either onsite or virtual service delivery modalities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for students with communication disorders
- Manage a caseload kept intentionally below state maximums, ensuring high quality of care
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary school teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district/state requirements
- Foster positive relationships with students and their families to encourage engagement and success
