Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Tucson, Arizona
Step into a rewarding contract position as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving K–6th grade students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time opportunity is based near Tucson, AZ, stretching from July 27, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Qualifications Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Arizona
- Professional experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations, especially in elementary settings
- Familiarity with creating IEPs, conducting assessments, and delivering therapy in school environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
What You’ll Do:
- Assess students’ speech, language, cognition, voice, and fluency abilities
- Develop and deliver targeted therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and group needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress and inclusion
- Contribute to IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Maintain thorough and timely records of student performance and services provided
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
