This full-time, school-based contract position focuses on delivering expert SLP services to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. From July 27, 2026, to May 28, 2027, you will work 37.5 hours per week, providing vital support that shapes student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and screen students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
- Work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ learning objectives
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with IEPs
- Provide both direct and consultative services within the K–6 school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students thrive
