Position Details
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Peoria, Arizona

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Daily Schedule: Typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, depending on site assignment
- Schools Assigned: 2–3 school sites
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 8th Grade

Available Assignments Traditional School-Based SLP Positions (2 Openings)
- K–8 school settings
- Typical speech and language caseloads
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services
- Develop and monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Autism Program SLP Positions (2 Openings)
- Specialized programs serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Provide individualized speech and language intervention
- Support communication, social language, and functional communication skills
- Collaborate with special education teams and behavioral support staff
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop treatment plans and therapy goals
- Provide individual and group therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Support students in achieving academic and communication success
Caseload Information
- District utilizes a caseload model
- Caseloads are generally maintained between 60–65 students
- Supportive team environment with established special education services
Qualifications Required
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be the IVP Fingerprint Card
- Candidates should be prepared to provide their IVP number
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
