K-8 Speech-Language Pathologist
Calling on licensed Speech-Language Pathologists based in Glendale, AZ, and seeking an opportunity to work with a very manageable workload in a school setting! Soliant is working with 1 school seeking coverage for 43 students.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Arizona Speech-Language Pathology Licenses (both the ADHS and the ADE)
- 1 year of experience with school settings desired
Additional information about the District, and the building
assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators,
following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Pay:
Soliant contracts are W2, paid hourly, up to 7 billable hours for each
work day. Salary will range from $45 to $52/hour based on candidate experience.
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students for communication delays or speech impairments
- Report on test results and make recommendations for appropriate goals and therapy plans
- Consult with colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis; ensure accurate records in order to update progress reports
- Participate in a evaluative and consultative processes to ensure children are getting appropriate support, including: Child Find, Speech Screenings, Response to Intervention, Record Review, Eligibility and Dismissal meetings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to Special Education and FERPA
