Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) for NY
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but consideration given to strong Clinical Fellows
- Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver direct speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Advocate for students’ communication needs and participate in school meetings
- Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with district standards
