Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Troy, NY

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners across multiple grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on student needs
- Maintain progress records, complete necessary documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with educators, families, and staff to promote optimal communication outcomes
- Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
