Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Valid state licensure as required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ unique needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions—both individual and group—to enhance students’ language, speech, and social-pragmatic skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer support and resources to families, empowering them to reinforce strategies at home
