Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in California
- Experience working in school settings, from early childhood through high school
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs and age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students across all grade levels (Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and evidence-based therapy programs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and progress
- Serve as a resource to educational staff, offering strategies and tools for classroom success
- Routinely track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings as assigned
