Pediatric Early Childhood Speech Pathology - Sacramento, CA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility in the state of California
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations
- Competency in delivering speech and language therapy to students at all educational levels (Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school)
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptability and creativity in managing a diverse caseload
- Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, evaluation, and intervention services to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families for comprehensive care
- Track student progress and update goals as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the team-based planning process
- Offer education and support to families and staff regarding speech and language development
