Speech Language Pathologist in Torrington, CT
Step into a fulfilling role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) throughout the upcoming school year and beyond! Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP credential required
- State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Connecticut
- Previous experience working in school settings with K–12 populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing services in person throughout the contract period
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and interventions for students with communication disorders in a school environment
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teaching staff and families
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal requirements for service delivery
- Participate as an engaged member of the educational team across multiple school sites
