Two dedicated SLPs are needed to join a collaborative team, working in-person with diverse student populations during the academic year, from ASAP through June 2027. Enjoy a consistent full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with weekly hours ranging from 35 to 37.5.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings (K-12 preferred)
- Skilled in assessment, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to provide in-person services across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy for students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt interventions and strategies to best serve students’ unique needs
- Support students in achieving academic and social-emotional success
