Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Toms River, NJ

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible for CFY supervision.
- State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in New Jersey.
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
- Familiarity with IEP process, assessments, and delivery of direct and consultative services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target students’ specific needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings; document progress and provide recommendations.
- Deliver therapy using both individual and group modalities.
- Consult with teachers and parents to support students across educational environments.
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide support and education to staff and families as needed.
