Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or is completing CFY
- Active or eligible state licensure as required for SLP practice
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP process, assessment strategies, and evidence-based treatment plans
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Develop tailored lesson plans and interventions in alignment with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support each child's overall goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and team conferences as required
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Utilize creative approaches to engage and motivate students in developing critical speech and language skills
