Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid SLP license for the state of New Jersey
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educators and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct intervention to support students’ communication and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student care
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student success
- Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions across various grade levels
