Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current or eligible New Jersey state license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; exceptional CFY candidates will also be considered
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based settings beneficial
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in diverse elementary and secondary school populations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to student needs and educational goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating on goal-setting and progress monitoring
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions—both individual and group formats
  • Maintain thorough records of evaluation results, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
  • Consult with educational staff and caregivers to support carryover of communication strategies in classroom and home environments
