Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible New Jersey state license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; exceptional CFY candidates will also be considered
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings beneficial
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in diverse elementary and secondary school populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to student needs and educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating on goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions—both individual and group formats
- Maintain thorough records of evaluation results, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
- Consult with educational staff and caregivers to support carryover of communication strategies in classroom and home environments
