Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Toccoa, Georgia

Exciting opportunity for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students during the 2020-2021 school year. This contract position offers two openings with flexible caseload preferences and the chance to support a diverse group of children in a supportive educational environment. Candidates with ASHA CCC are encouraged, but Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered.
Located near Toccoa, GA, this position welcomes applicants from surrounding areas such as Helen, Cleveland, and Cornelia.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Georgia SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; will consider Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, or teletherapy highly valued
- Commitment to improving student communication, language, and social skills
- Strong collaboration skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans targeting students’ unique needs
- Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in IEP development
- Provide direct and consultative speech services in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines
- Engage in regular collaboration with educators and families to promote student success
- Participate in all required meetings and professional development as scheduled
