Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Gainesville, GA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2020-2021 school year, supporting K-12 students through speech-language services in a school-based setting. This position is open to experienced Speech-Language Pathologists holding ASHA CCC as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY). With two openings available, you can specify your caseload preference and play an integral part in students’ communication development from August through May. Services may be provided in person or via teletherapy, utilizing a holistic, student-centered approach.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license for the state, or eligibility
- ASHA CCC preferred; strong CFY candidates will also be considered
- Pediatric and/or K-12 school experience is highly valued
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms is an asset
- Commitment to ethical, collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary educational team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for K-12 students
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, monitor progress, and document outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development
- Engage in professional growth and follow best practices in both in-person and teletherapy delivery methods
Compensation for this contract role is $66 per hour for ASHA CCC-holders and $64 per hour for Clinical Fellows.
Flexible caseload assignments are available, taking your preferences into account. Candidates can interview this week and next, with locations in and near Helen, Cleveland, and Cornelia.
