Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students for the 2020-2021 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist! Two positions are currently available, with the flexibility to tailor your caseload preference. This role spans August through May and offers the chance to make a significant impact through in-person or teletherapy services.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in SLP practice within schools and pediatric settings. Both ASHA CCC-certified SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply—your skills and fresh perspective will be valued. Interviews will be conducted this and next week, ensuring a quick and efficient hiring process.

You’ll meet a community of educators and students in a supportive educational environment, with locations accessible from Helen, Cleveland, and Cornelia.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Experience in K-12 settings preferred, including both onsite and teletherapy modalities
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred, but accepting Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants
  • Pediatric SLP exposure and a passion for supporting school-aged learners

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders for students in K-12
  • Develop individualized education plans and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain proactive parent and teacher communication
  • Provide both direct and consultative services, in person or via teletherapy
  • Monitor progress, collect data, and contribute to annual IEP meetings

For ASHA CCC-certified professionals, this contract opportunity provides compensation of $66 per hour, while Clinical Fellows are offered $64 per hour—reflecting your level of expertise.
