Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as required by Georgia regulations
- Previous experience working with children in school settings preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and families to support student progress and advocate for necessary services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide in-services or resources to school staff when needed
