Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
  • Hold a valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Expertise in delivering individualized speech and language care, particularly in a 1:1 school-based setting
  • Comfortable conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and maintaining compliance with all documentation requirements
  • Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, parents, and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language needs of elementary-age students
  • Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions, with an emphasis on 1:1 support
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals within the school curriculum
  • Maintain detailed and accurate session notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Communicate progress and treatment plans with families and educational staff to ensure holistic support for each child
