Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP licensure (CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and case management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Passion for fostering student growth in a diverse classroom setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to educational staff and parents
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other specialists to ensure student success
- Create engaging and age-appropriate therapeutic activities
- Support a positive learning environment while managing a caseload of approximately 37.5 hours per week
