Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois SLP license required.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) is required.
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are welcome.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work well with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
- Willingness to work onsite, in-person only.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students as assigned.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student needs and school requirements.
- Keep accurate documentation and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
- Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions as needed.
- Adapt services across a range of ages, from early childhood to transition programs, depending on school assignment.
