Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Oak Lawn, IL

This contract, full-time role allows you to make a lasting impact, guiding learners from early childhood through young adulthood (ages 3–21), depending on school assignment. As an in-person SLP, you’ll use your skills to foster positive outcomes and help students find their voice.
Key Requirements:
- Active Illinois SLP license required
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Comfortable working onsite, five days a week
- Available to start as soon as possible and continue through June 1, 2027
- Experience or passion for working with students across a wide age range
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to eligible students
- Conduct speech-language assessments and contribute to IEP development
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Serve as a resource to school staff on communication, language, and related topics
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere within the educational environment
