Speech Language Pathologist in Napoleonville, LA

Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Louisiana SLP License
- Louisiana Teaching Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to guide individualized plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain detailed records and document student progress in compliance with state and district requirements
- Provide consultation and support for teachers, staff, and caregivers to maximize student success
- Collaborate with other specialists and educational professionals to foster a positive learning environment
- Communicate progress and strategies to parents and guardians
