Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current, active Louisiana SLP license
- Louisiana Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability as specific caseload and assignment details will be available in July
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in compliance with IEP mandates
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with communication challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth
- Adjust strategies and interventions based on student needs and performance data
