Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certified with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid New Mexico SLP license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Willingness to travel between sites (itinerant role)
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to serving youth with varied needs
- Skilled communicator, collaborator, and organizer
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services to students
- Support students’ development in speech, language, communication, and social skills
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure students’ goals are met
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and provide ongoing progress updates
- Travel to assigned sites within the district as needed
