Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to diverse student populations (ages and specific populations will be determined)
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and meet compliance standards
- Serve as an itinerant SLP, delivering support across various school locations as assigned
- Participate in student support meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid New Mexico SLP license required prior to start
- Experience in school-based settings or working with children/adolescents preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to effectively manage a full-time caseload and travel to multiple sites as needed
