A full-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students with various caseload options in an educational setting. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services on-site in Roanoke, VA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support students’ academic and communication goals
- Maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and progress
- Participating in meetings and professional development to enhance service delivery
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or qualification under Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred
- Ability to manage a full-time workload of 37.5 hours per week with a focus on direct student services
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with school personnel and families
- Willingness to work on-site with minimal to no voiceover (Voco) requirements
