Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in VA

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position in Richmond, VA, specializing in pediatric and school-based speech therapy services. This role focuses on delivering telespeech and in-person therapy interventions to support students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide telespeech therapy sessions in compliance with best practices and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in meetings and provide recommendations to support student communication development
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Pediatric speech-language pathology expertise, with a focus on school-aged populations
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience delivering speech therapy services within school settings
- Proficient in telespeech therapy delivery utilizing relevant telepractice technology
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
