A virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide teletherapy services in North Fort Myers, FL, supporting students at a virtual school. This part-time contract position requires delivering specialized speech-language services via telespeech platforms to homebound students within the assigned school district.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting remote speech-language assessments and therapy sessions based on individual student needs
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress in communication goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school district standards
- Adhering to state licensure and virtual service delivery guidelines
- Participating in necessary credentialing and fingerprinting processes as required
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teaching certification and/or active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience with teletherapy or telespeech service delivery models
- Ability to work independently with homebound students across a virtual platform
- Completion of fingerprinting and clearance processes compatible with Florida school district requirements
Work schedule:
