Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Teletherapy Position
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Contract Duration: August 11, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week (7.5 hours per day, total 15 hours weekly)
Setting: Supporting students of Lee Virtual School, primarily homebound learners
Role Overview:
This remote opportunity requires a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver teletherapy services to students enrolled in a virtual school setting. The role focuses on providing effective speech-language interventions and support to homebound students within the school district. Strong communication skills and experience in teletherapy are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech and language services tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district policies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state licensure and education regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license
- Experience providing telespeech or teletherapy services in educational settings
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments and supporting homebound students
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and obtain a JLA badge through appropriate school district protocols
