A Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide teletherapy services supporting homebound students enrolled in a virtual school setting. This part-time, contracted role requires delivering services two days per week with a total of 15 hours weekly. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely with students requiring speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telepractice SLP services to students who are homebound.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with school district protocols and documentation requirements.
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services in an educational setting preferred.
- Ability to complete fingerprint clearance or transfer valid fingerprints through the AHCA Clearinghouse.
- Strong communication and organizational skills suitable for virtual service delivery.
