A part-time virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide telespeech therapy to students who are homebound through a virtual school setting in Fort Myers, FL. The role will support students enrolled in a virtual learning program, delivering speech and language services remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide telespeech therapy services to students who are homebound.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress.
- Communicate regularly with families, school personnel, and other professionals involved in student care.
- Adhere to all licensing and district requirements for virtual service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health (DOH) SLP license.
- Experience delivering virtual speech-language pathology services preferred.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Ability to complete necessary fingerprinting and background checks as required by state and district regulations.

- Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week (7.5 hours per day; approximately 15 hours per week).
