Location: Lehigh Acres, FL
Assignment Period: August 11, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Schedule: 2 days per week, 7.5 hours each day (15 hours total)
Setting: School district virtual program supporting homebound students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to students who are homebound
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) virtually
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies
- Utilize virtual platforms effectively to engage and monitor student progress
- Adhere to all state and district regulations, including credential and fingerprint verification
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license
- Experience providing virtual speech therapy services preferred
- Eligibility to complete or verification of fingerprint clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse
- Ability to obtain a JLA badge as required by the district
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload remotely
