Pediatric Telehealth School-Based Speech Therapy | California
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This role requires providing teletherapy and in-person therapy services within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students exhibiting communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individual treatment plans tailored to students' needs
- Delivering speech therapy services through telepractice and face-to-face sessions as required
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to compliance standards
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based practice, including pediatric populations
- Skills in telespeech or teletherapy service delivery
- Familiarity with healthcare settings and responsibilities of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Bilingual skills, preferably Spanish, highly preferred to serve a diverse student population
- Ability to work effectively with a range of age groups, from early childhood through adolescence
