Pediatric Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in CA
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year, serving students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This role focuses on delivering specialized speech therapy services within a school setting, with teletherapy options available. Bilingual professionals with Spanish language skills are preferred to better support a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students across a broad age range, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy methods
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support communication goals and academic success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and licensing requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations in both school and healthcare environments
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for newer graduates
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) experience or credentials are advantageous
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills highly desirable
