Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in FL
Fort Myers, FL
Speech Language Pathologists are needed to provide telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting, serving students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. This contract role offers full-time or part-time hours, up to 35 hours per week (7 hours daily), supporting multiple schools within designated areas.
Responsibilities include delivering direct speech therapy sessions via teletherapy, completing Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation, and participating in virtual IEP meetings. Evaluations must be conducted in person and are not part of the virtual responsibilities for this position.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist licensure
- Previous successful completion of similar teletherapy assignments preferred
- Experience providing speech services to K-12 student populations across diverse settings
- Ability to complete IEP documentation accurately and attend virtual meetings
- Fingerprint clearance through Florida AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete new fingerprints
- Capable of managing caseloads combined across multiple schools
