Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Recent experience in schools and/or pediatric settings
- Proficiency with AAC devices and tech-assisted communication
- Passion for supporting nonverbal or minimally verbal students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluations and individualized treatment for students with complex communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide training on AAC devices for educational staff
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and district guidelines
- Serve as an advocate and resource for students using augmentative communication
